Each year, we look forward to hosting our customers, partners and employees from the US, UK and Canada at iPipeline’s Connections conference to get your feedback, unveil the latest product and platform innovations, talk about the future of the insurance industry as well as changing consumer expectations. Connections provides inspiration to the insurance industry every year, and we believe has become one of the most important conferences in the industry.

For several weeks, we have monitored the situation around COVID-19, the Coronavirus. Given the need to protect the health and well-being of iPipeline Connections attendees, we have decided to cancel the conference scheduled from March 15-17 to ensure individuals are kept as safe as possible.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of unknowns about this virus and its potential impact. I just got back from the ACLI meeting in Las Vegas yesterday. It was business as usual, but things seem to be changing rapidly and we do not wish to have anyone take unnecessary risks. We just think it is prudent to be cautious currently and hope this turns out to be nothing.

My fellow Pipers and I look forward to getting to see you each year at this annual conference and are saddened by the current situation and this outcome. An incredible amount of preparation has gone into making this a great event, and I want to personally thank all the employees, customers, sponsors and guest speakers for their efforts.

We are evaluating the possibility of providing some of the content in an online format and will have more information on that shortly. I hope everyone stays safe, and I want to thank you for your understanding.

Q&A for Cancellation of Connections 2020

  • Q. As an iPipeline Connections registrant what are my options?
    A. As a registrant, you have the option to either receive a refund or a credit for Connections 2021. No action is required to have a credit for Connections 2021. To receive a refund, click here. You must complete your request by April 1, 2020 to receive a refund.

    All credits for Connections 2021 are transferrable to individuals within your organization.
  • Q. As a sponsor, what are my options?
    A. As a sponsor, you have the option to either receive a refund or a credit for Connections 2021. No action is required to have a credit for Connections 2021. To receive a refund, click here. You must complete your request by April 1, 2020 to receive a refund.
  • Q. What will happen to my travel reservations?
    A. Please contact your hotel and airline immediately to discuss your options. Some airlines are allowing travelers to use these travel funds for future travel with no change fees.
  • Q. Will the Aria refund our room prepayment?
    A. Please call the Aria at (702) 590-7111 to request a refund. If you still plan on visiting Vegas, you may be eligible to retain your reservation.
  • Q. Will I get access to the content from iPipeline 2020?
    A. We are planning to offer some iPipeline content online, more details will be announced soon.
